If you haven't clicked the "about" page, here's his bio:
"Moss Lipow has been referred to as been referred to in media as "The Genius of Eyewear Design" and "The Most Talked About Eyewear Designer in Decades”. He began by supplying one-off pieces, of his own design and manufacture, to fashion stylists, and was soon producing a line which sold at Barney’s, Takashimaya, Lane Crawford, Maxfield, and other top fashion and optical specialty retailers.

He was the first eyewear designer selected by the Council of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue Magazine as a finalist in their Fashion Fund competition, which is generally considered the most important fashion competition in the world. He’s done collaborations with Ann Taylor and Lexus; his creations have been worn by celebrities such as Lady GaGa, Elton John, David Bowie and more; Lipow and his work have been featured in Vogue, Italian Vogue, Vogue Japan, Vogue China, Numero, Forbes, Newsweek, USA Today, and numerous other media outlets worldwide. He was even referenced in the Tom Clancy novel Locked On (“Laska knew enough about luxury items to recognize that Valentin’s fashionable Moss Lipow eyeglasses cost more than three thousand dollars”).
In addition to his work as a designer, he’s a noted authority on the category. His 400 page book, Eyewear, published by Taschen, is generally regarded as the industry’s standard history. It was a ten year project, that entailed assembling and curating a museum quality collection of antique and vintage eyewear, covering a period of some 400 years. The collection provided the imagery, while the text traced the development of the technologies, materials and manufacturing techniques, as well as the social and aesthetic factors that shaped the object. The book covers eyewear’s evolution, from its origin into a $183.36 billion dollar industry as of 2023 (Grand View Research). He has lectured on eyewear at NY’s Fashion Institute of Technology. His knowledge, scholarship, and 20 years in the business, has given him unique insight into industry trends and macro-trends, as well as considerable manufacturing expertise."
Sometimes a company is too close to its own problems to accurately identify them and/or devise the best solutions. Outside perspective is needed. Moss can help handle a range of challenges, whether it's design, production, marketing, revenue related issues, determining customer base, or overall strategy, he offers a highly educated outside perspective free of biases, which can help companies pursue the right course of action.
